Amazon Photos is a free solution for storing large amounts of photos.  However, to get the best looking images to print or use digitally, you have to go through a few extra steps.

From a mobile device:

 I used an iPhone but I'm sure others are similar.

1. Click the photo you want to download so it opens up large in your browser then click the three dots in the upper right hand corner.

2. Click "download" in the drop menu.

3. You will be asked if you want to download.  Click VIEW.

4. Your image will load in the page.  Long Press on that downloaded image and save to photos.
